The dates for the 2009 FFA Fall Blowout have been set....September 25th and 26th.
Here's a real quick way to give a dollar to Future Farmers of America Foundation and not a scam. The Campbell Soup Co. will donate $1 (up to $250,000 total) for every click of the red barn on its website to the FFA Foundation for its scholarship and education programs. You can only click once. So, please go to the website and click the barn, but more importantly, tell your friends and family.
The national FFA scholarship application is online this year. Click below for the website to start your application. See an Advisor if you have questions.
Click on the link below to see the Scott County FFA Soybean youtube video. This is a contest sponsored by the Soybean Association. The video with the most views wins $$$ in the end.
The 2008 Blue and Gold Fall Blowout was another huge success. We had an outstanding lineup of truck and tractors, which made a great show. We had comments from fans saying it was one of the best pulls in Georgetown in a long time. In addition, we heard from several pullers saying it was the best track they pulled on all season. This success is a direct result from the outstanding hard work from our parents, volunteers, and sponsors!!!
Thank you to all those that helped by working, pulling, or sponsoring. FFA is a great place for our students and community thanks to you.
